We had a wonderful stay at the Bunkhouse! Everything was clean and well-maintained, from the daily washing of the facilities to the fully furnished kitchen. the location was truly magical, surrounded by the bay and mountains. Although the road through the mountains could be tricky in foggy conditions, it offered mesmerizing views. We particularly enjoyed the abundance of hiking trails in the area. The added bonuses of a gym and laundry facilities made our stay even more enjoyable. Cons: Can't fault the property in any way! .

I recently stayed at The Bunkhouse for a few nights and had a fantastic time. The room was spacious and exceeded my expectations. The bathrooms were clean and there was hardly any wait time. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything I needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views of the bay and mountains. The surrounding area had plenty of hiking trails to explore. The on-site gym was a great convenience, and being able to do laundry was a big plus.
Highly recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the bay and surrounding mountains. the scenery was truly magical, and there were plenty of hikes to explore in the area. the shared bathroom was modern and very clean, and the single room I stayed in was comfortable. There was also a well-equipped kitchen and a gym on the premises. the facilities were top-notch and the service was excellent.
The cost of the breakfast was quite high compared to what was actually served. It would have been more affordable and convenient to buy our own breakfast elsewhere.

My stay at The Bunkhouse was a delightful experience. The location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the bay and mountains. The shared bathrooms were modern and impeccably clean, and my single room was comfortable and cozy. The staff, particularly April, were incredibly helpful and made me feel welcome. The kitchen was well-furnished, and the shared lounge was a great place to relax. the facilities were well-maintained and spotless. I also appreciated the option to wash my clothes and access the on-site gym. The area surrounding the bunkhouse was magical, with plenty of hiking opportunities and beautiful scenery. However, one minor drawback was the slow WiFi, which made it difficult for navigation and travel planning. But WiFi was available at nearby restaurants. Additionally, the breakfast options were a bit overpriced, but there was a small shop accessible by car, although it closed early. Despite these small issues, I still highly recommend The Bunkhouse for its value for money, cleanliness, helpful staff, and enchanting location.

The rooms were spacious and warm, with comfortable beds and plenty of blankets. the shared bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, with a nice power shower and separate locked doors for privacy. the common areas, including the lounge and kitchen, were fully equipped and neat. the location was beautiful, with stunning scenery and opportunities for short walks along the river. the reception staff were welcoming and helpful, making for a positive overall impression.
There was a lack of chairs in the rooms, which would have been useful for relaxation or working. Another downside was that the hotel was quite far from the nearest pub, requiring a long walk or the need to bring your own supplies.

I had a fantastic stay at this beautiful location. the Bunkhouse was very close to a lovely tearooms and not far from the loch, surrounded by nature and stunning grounds. the shower facilities were of a very high standard. the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, providing great tips about the limited eating options and even warning us about the midges at sundown. the freshly baked croissants for breakfast were amazing.
Nothing to complain about at all. 😊.

I stayed at The Bunkhouse for a quick stopover and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The facilities were clean and adequate, with comfortable bunks and plenty of toilets and bathrooms. The shared kitchen area was well-equipped, but I highly recommend trying the delicious Spanish tapas at the nearby Walled Garden. The location was stunning, surrounded by beautiful scenery and a short walk from the coastline. Excellent value for money, I was sad to leave.
Can recommend this hotel.
